Valued customer:

As of Nov. 18, Arlington has a new water-sewer-refuse Customer Self-Service (CSS) portal. You will no longer be able to access your utility account via the old Click2Gov system but payments can still be made through the County Treasurer’s customer payment portal,CAPP

We strongly recommend all customers sign up for a CSS account.

This change is part of a project to modernize our billing system. The new system offers bill review, usage data and - for the first time - opt-in for paperless billing. You will also be able to use your CSS account to request services like brush collection and mulch delivery.

  • When you register for CSS, you will be asked to enter your last name as it appears on your bill and your utility account number. Both are included at the top of this email. (Your account number is the first 12 digits of the number that appears at the top-right corner of your paper bill.)
  • During your initial account set-up, you will be able to choose an email address and password.
  • If you need assistance, please call our Customer Contact Center during business hours at703-228-5000.

Note: Your summer billing amount (bill received Sept through November) may be lower than normal because the Household Solid Waste program will be switching from billing in advance of service to billing at the end of the quarter After summer billing, you should anticipate amounts due for the Household Solid Waste program to return to normal levels ($76.50 per quarter).

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. With our new CSS portal, we look forward to providing you with even better service.
