The Lit Up Ball - Darkly Ever After - March 22

This fancy dress and literary-themed social event for adults is presented by the Friends of the Arlington Public Library

The theme of the ball is Fairy Tales: Darkly Ever After. The event will be held Thursday, March 22 from 7 to 11 p.m. at the Clarendon Ballroom.

 

The 2018 Lit Up Ball will feature:

  • Prizes awarded for the best fairy tale inspired attire (costumes are optional)
  • Live music from Tongue in Cheek Jazz Band
  • Light appetizers and dessert

This event is for ages 18+ only. Early Bird tickets are $30 each, until February 14. On February 15, tickets go up to $40 each.

Game of Thrones Trivia - Jan 22

It's not too late to sign up for Game of Thrones Trivia! 

In these times of strife and subterfuge you will need knowledge, skill, and wit as you battle to uphold your rightful claim to the Iron Throne (aka the Nine Kingdoms of Arlington)...

Registration required.  Teams (3-6 people) and individuals welcome. 

Join at Champps Kitchen + Bar on Monday, January 22 from 7 to 9 p.m. to find out if you’re The King in the North, The Mother of Dragons, or Hodor.

A Night Out at the Library

Stop by after-hours for our first Library Happy Hour and Open House, featuring friendly librarians, fun activities and information about the library, music by DC-based Three Man Soul Machine, and libations provided by the Ballston BID. It's a great way to learn something new about your Library!

 

Registration required for this FREE event. Only patrons who have registered in advance of the event will be admitted. You must be 18+ to enter, 21+ to drink.
