Arlington Moves to Encourage Accessory Dwellings

The County Board adopted amendments to the Zoning Ordinance aimed at making it easier to create accessory dwellings in single-family neighborhoods.

 

Arlington To Consider Housing Conservation District

Public hearings will be held in December on a proposal to create a Housing Conservation District.

 

Arlington Approves $6 Million Affordable Housing Loan for Park Shirlington Apartments

The County's Affordable Housing Investment Fund will provide the money for Park Shirlington Apartments. 


Arlington Approves Off-Street Residential Parking Guidelines for Metro Corridors

The County Board adopted off-street residential parking guidelines for new, multi-family residential projects approved by special exception in Arlington’s Metro corridors.


Commercial PACE Financing Program Set to Launch in Arlington

The County Board adopted a new ordinance that will pave the way for Arlington to be the first Commonwealth jurisdiction to launch a Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) program. The C-PACE program is designed to help commercial building owners finance energy efficiency, water efficiency and renewable energy upgrades with affordable, long-term, financing provided by private capital providers.
