NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT THE COUNTY BOARD OF ARLINGTON,
VIRGINIA will meet on Saturday, October 21, 2017 in Room 307, 2100 Clarendon
Blvd., Arlington, Virginia at 9:00 am or as soon thereafter as the matter may
be heard
in a public hearing:
NOTE: Copies of proposed plans, ordinances, amendments and applications, and
related planning case materials may be examined in the Zoning Office, Suite
1000.
THE FOLLOWING CASE TO BE HEARD BY COUNTY BOARD ONLY:
SUBJECT: Resolution
(1) authorizing a Bona Fide Offer to purchase the land and improvements located
at 2631 and 2633 Shirlington Road in Arlington County; (2) approving an
Agreement of Sale to be sent with the Bona Fide Offer to the owner of such
properties; (3) authorizing the County Manager, to execute the Agreement of
Sale on behalf of the County Board; and (4) authorizing, if such effort to
purchase the properties is ineffectual or unsuccessful, the acquisition, for
public purposes and by eminent domain, of the parcels of real estate with
improvements, known as Parcel “A-1” Rowe Family Partners, RLLP, as shown on a
plat attached to a Deed of Resubdivision, Vacation, Rededication and
Consolidation recorded in Deed Book 4231 at Page 945, among the land records of
Arlington County, Virginia, and Parcel B-1-B and Outlot “A,” The Resubdivision
Parcel B-1 CARS-BD, L.L.C., as shown on a plat attached to a Deed of
Resubdivision and Easements recorded in Deed Book 4764 at Page 784, among the
land records of Arlington County, Virginia, which parcels are located at 2631
and 2633 Shirlington Road, Arlington, Virginia, and are further identified as
RPC numbers 31-034-042, 31-034-044 and 31-034-045, and which parcels consist of
a total of approximately 153,266 square feet.
The public is welcome and encouraged to attend.
