Arlington’s Story: Racial and Social Progress 

Arlington is committed to seeking the authority from the General Assembly to rename both Jefferson Davis and Lee highways within our boundaries. Anyone in Arlington who wants to suggest a new name for Jefferson Davis Highway can do so on the City of Alexandria’s website through September 15.

County to Review Residential Permit Parking

Arlington’s Residential Permit Parking (RPP) system will undergo a thorough review and public engagement process as the County determines whether on-street supply and demand for parking is being met.
