Resilience is a documentary film that delves into the science of
Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and a movement to treat and prevent
toxic stress.
This film chronicles the work among pediatricians,
therapists, educators, and communities who are using brain science to
disrupt the cycles of violence, addiction and disease.

Ending the Silence: A Student Inspired Workshop for Mental Health Awareness
- When: Saturday May 20th, 2017
- Where: Wakefield High School, 1325 South Dinwiddie Street
- Time: Registration/Check-in starts at 11:15 AM. Official start time is 12:00 PM.
Open to ALL (parents, students, families, children, etc.) at no cost.

The breakout sessions were determined through a survey to identify the
top 5 issues: stress, anxiety, depression, coping skills, and
stereotyping/labeling. Other popular topics were suicide
risk/prevention, self-harm, substance abuse, and relationship
aggression.
