Parent Chats: Sharing Wisdom
-
CONNECT with other parents
-
SHARE what has worked for you, what you struggle with
-
BUILD a community of support
All parents talk about parenting. It is our way of sharing our
experiences, getting or giving advice, and reaching out to others for
support. Parents enjoy sharing their children’s accomplishments,
laughing about silly things they say, or venting about behaviors. It is
something that most of us do naturally.
The Partnership believes that, when parents share wisdom with one another, we all become better parents.
That is why we are inviting parents to come together for Parent Chats.
Youth Entrepreneur
Showcase
As part of the Out of School
Time Conference, we’re excited to offer young people an opportunity to share
information about their business.
We would like to invite youth
to join us on Saturday, October 15 from 11:30am-1:00pm at Kenmore Middle School
to showcase your services or products to over 250 conference attendees.
The Out of School Time
Conference is an annual training event for staff who run afterschool
programs, parents or other adults who work with young people outside of school
times. This year’s theme is Youth Voice: Lean in and Listen.
Sign up as an Exhibitor
for the Youth Entrepreneur Showcase
Youth should be ready to tell people about their product, service, or other business ideas. We’ll provide a table and
chairs. Entrepreneurs are also welcome to enjoy lunch. The first 20 to sign up will also
get a conference t-shirt. Pre-registration is required; use this sign up link for the Youth Entrepreneur Showcase.
Do you know other youth
entrepreneurs in Arlington? Please let them know about this!
