The Arlington Partnership for Children, Youth and Families (APCYF) is pleased to announce the Spring 2016 Connect With Kids Champions.
Connect with Kids Champions make relationships with young people a priority. They know instinctively the importance of having positive adults in the lives of kids helps them make healthy choices as they grow. Each fall and spring, APCYF invites our community to nominate individuals, groups, businesses and nonprofit organizations as Champions because of the relationships they’ve built with young people.
Barbara Kanninen, School Board member, is grateful for the lessons that the Spring 2016 Champions offer. “Whether coaching, teaching, or helping with afterschool activities, Champions value the relationships they have with young people above all else. We can all do that!”
