Feb. 18: Last day to apply for limited-entry bear hunts

March 20–April 24: Apply for Utah’s big game hunts

May 15: Big game drawing results available

June 4–18: Apply for Utah’s antlerless hunts

July 3: Antlerless drawing results available

July 8: Purchase general-season archery elk permits and youth general-season elk permits (available online, at retail locations or any DWR office)

July 8: Purchase remaining limited-entry big game permits and general-season deer permits (also youth archery deer permits), if available

July 9–23: Apply for Utah's grouse, crane and tundra swan hunts

July 10: Purchase general-season any bull elk permits (available online, at retail locations or any DWR office)

July 17: Purchase general-season spike bull elk permits (available online, at retail locations or any DWR office)

July 29: Purchase antlerless permits

Early November: Apply for Utah's sportsman hunts

Mid-December: Apply for Utah's limited-entry turkey hunts
 The money you spend on licenses and permits goes toward ongoing conservation and management efforts. That funding helps us fight invasive species, improve habitat and manage Utah's fish and wildlife populations. Our teams are working on many important projects, and we appreciate your support.
