Dear general-season deer hunter,
We are launching a new harvest-reporting site and want you to try it out!
This year, all hunters who obtained a general-season any-legal-weapon deer permit can submit their hunt and harvest information through our new easy-to-use website.
You only need two things to log in:
- Your customer ID
- Your date of birth
This is the same information you used earlier this year to apply for a permit. Once you're logged in, just click the permit listed and answer a few simple questions. Then, click "Submit," and you're done!
We encourage you — and any other family members who applied with you and had the same permit type — to submit your harvest report as soon as your hunting season ends. It is important to submit a harvest report even if you did not hunt or did not harvest. Your harvest survey provides information we use to manage wildlife populations and make recommendations for next year's hunts.
In an effort to measure hunter participation in this new program, you may receive a follow-up survey by telephone if you do not complete your online harvest report within 2 weeks of the end of your hunting season. If you need assistance completing your harvest report, please contact your local DWR office. Harvest reporting for general-season deer is not mandatory at this time, so there are no penalties if you choose not to report.
Thank you for helping us test this new tool, and for your support of hunting in Utah!
Sincerely,
Utah Division of Wildlife Resources
