Monarch Butterfly Tagging
Learn about monarch butterflies at this fun and educational butterfly tagging event that's great for all ages. Register and participate in a habitat hike, talk about monarch lifecycles and observe the tagging process. (All handling of monarch butterflies will be performed by trained biologists participating in the tagging project.)
The event is free for registered guests but there is an entrance fee of $25 per vehicle to enter Dinosaur National Monument. Space is limited per hour, so be sure and sign up early to reserve your spot. To register and learn more, please see our Eventbrite page.
