If you didn’t get an antlerless elk or doe pronghorn permit, you have one last chance.
Because of widespread drought across Utah, the Wildlife Board has approved additional hunting permits. This will reduce some wildlife populations over the short term in an effort to protect their habitats over the long term.
An additional 723 antlerless elk permits and 35 doe pronghorn permits will go on sale at 8 a.m. MDT on Sept. 6, 2018.
You can buy permits online, at any Division office or from a license agent.
Want to research the hunts first? The full list of permit numbers and hunt units is posted on our website. You can also view hunt boundary maps on the Utah Hunt Planner.
