Thank you for participating in the Lake Powell the tagged walleye contest.
We have awarded all of the prizes, so the contest is now over — but keep your eyes open for more contests at Lake Powell this summer!
There are still walleye with red tags in the lake from the contest. If you catch one of these walleye over the next couple of years, feel free to keep the fish and enjoy a good meal. To help us with some of our Lake Powell research, though, please email the number on the tag and the location of your catch to richardhepworth@utah.gov or waynegustaveson@utah.gov.

Some walleye also have green tags labeled, "Research Fish Do Not Kill." If you catch one of these fish, please release it unharmed, if possible. Walleye with green tags have had radio transmitters surgically implanted to help us better understand their movement patterns.
Thanks again to all of you who participated in the tagged walleye contest.
