•What: Opportunity to Walk/Run 2K with your colleagues & donate to items to Wilmington VA homeless program:
- Non-perishable food items
- Ready to eat meals
- New clothing (socks, underwear, sweatpants)
- Personal hygiene items
- Denture adhesive
- Nail clippers
- Liquid laundry detergent *New items only please.
Wilmington VA Community Based Outpatient Clinics in Delaware & southern NJ will host their own VA2K at their locations and collect donations on May 20th 10am-1pm.

 Live Better With COPD: A 9-Week Self-Management Program
This program is designed to help you feel more confident in managing your Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and staying in control of your day-to-day life. Over 9 weeks, you will learn practical skills that can help you breathe easier, reduce flareups, and improve your quality of life.
Our team of Whole Health: Healthy Living Team clinicians will guide you through tools you can start using right away, including:
- Ways to manage stress, worry, and breathlessness • How sleep, movement, and nutrition can support your lungs • Breathing exercises that help you feel more in control • How medications and inhalers can work best for you • Tips for staying active and doing the things that matter most to you
Classes are offered: Thursdays from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. ET.
