Veterans: Join MVP's Military Experiences and Exposures Survey

Million Veteran Program Toxic Exposure Survey

VA’s Million Veteran Program (MVP) recently launched the Military Experiences and Toxic Exposures Survey to learn more about the ways military experiences and toxic exposures affect health. MVP, VA’s largest research effort, is studying health conditions that matter to Veterans, including mental health, heart health, cancer, tinnitus and more. All Veterans are invited to join MVP and complete the survey.

For more information, you can read Veterans: Join MVP's military experience and exposure survey news article on VA News website.

Live Whole Health: Power Your Intentions in the New Year

healthy teaching kitchen

Along with each new year comes the temptation to make New Year’s resolutions (fixed outcome goals). But what if we leave behind this all-or-nothing approach to finding health and well-being?

Who do you want to be in 2026?

This year, instead of making a new year’s resolution, imagine who you want to be in the world and how you want to show up each day. This type of intention-setting sparks growth as we align our goals with our personal values.

To learn more, read Live Whole Health #298: Power your intentions in the New Year on the VA News website.

How to Refill Medications

A person looks down at their phone and a prescription bottle.

Refill medications are sent through the U.S. Postal service after you order them. Since the medications come by mail, please order your medications at least 8 days BEFORE you run out of medicine.

You may order earlier, and the refill will be sent before you run out. Review all your medications at each provider visit to make sure the medications are renewed, since prescriptions may expire or run out of refills.

Unfortunately, we are unable to refill your prescriptions at the Outpatient Pharmacy window. Please check your medicine regularly and order early. Do not go to the Emergency Department (ED) for routine refill requests. ED will not refill your prescriptions.

There are multiple ways to order your refills or make renewal requests!

  • Order using MyHealtheVet  (myhealth.va.gov)
    • Log in and select “Pharmacy”
    • Select “Refill Prescriptions”
  • Order using the VA: Health and Benefits App
  • Order by Telephone
    • Toll free for Arizona call 1-800-470-8262 and choose option 1 for Pharmacy
    • Follow the automated prompts to request your refill or renewal

Have the following information available: social security number, and prescription number. (The prescription number is in the upper left-hand corner of the medicine bottle.  Enter the numbers only, not letters).
