The Exercising with Pain class is designed specifically for Veterans experiencing chronic pain. The class will help you develop a better understanding of how to safely and effectively incorporate movement into your daily routine.
The focus of this 6-week virtual exercise class will teach participants:
- How to exercise responsibly
- Manage your pain effectively
- Safely start and progress through a sustainable exercise program
By the end of the program, participants will have gained the knowledge and confidence to maintain a long-term exercise routine that enhances their overall physical fitness and quality of life.

- Challenging yourself responsibly
Class schedule
This class is offered once a week, and our next sessions start on January 7, 2026. Chose the best day and time based your schedule.
- Wednesday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. ET

- Thursday mornings from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. ET
Each class will include a warm up period, variable exercise routine for upper and lower body and core exercises, and a cool down period.
Who we serve
This service is available to Veterans receiving health care in any VISN 4 medical center or outpatient clinic. You must have a computer, smartphone, or tablet to complete these sessions, and you must be willing to commit and actively participate in the virtual sessions.
