Dear Veteran,

On behalf of the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System (SAVAHCS), we would like to express our heartfelt appreciation for your service and sacrifice to our nation this Veterans Day. We are truly grateful to you for your bravery and dedication in protecting the freedoms we all hold dearly. We will never forget the price that you have paid for our freedom. We also recognize the sacrifices made by your families and loved ones while you were serving our country.

SAVAHCS is committed to providing high-quality healthcare services when Veterans enter our doors.  You have sacrificed so much for us, and now it is our turn to serve you. It is an honor and privilege for us to serve Veterans, their families, and caregivers. 

We provide Veterans with health care services at 10 locations in southern Arizona. Facilities include our Tucson VA Medical Center and 7 community-based outpatient clinics and 3 Rural Health Coordination Centers in Casa Grande, Green Valley, Safford, Sierra Vista, Tucson, and Yuma. Join us on Monday, November 10, for our Veterans Day Cookies and Coffee event in the Building 80 Lobby at the Tucson VA Medical Center, located at 3601 South 6th Ave., Tucson, AZ 85723, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. to show appreciation to all Veterans that have selflessly served our country. 


106th Tucson Veterans Day Parade

City of Tucson Veterans Day Parade

The City of Tucson Veterans Day Parade will take place on Tuesday, November 11 starting at 11:00 a.m. The parade route will along the Tucson Convention Center perimeter. 

The Tucson Convention Center is located at 260 S Church Ave, Tucson, AZ 85701.


30th Annual Sierra Vista Veterans Day Parade 

Sierra Vista Veterans Day Parade

The City of Sierra Vista’s 30th Annual Veterans Day Parade will start heading down Fry Boulevard at 9 a.m., beginning at 7th Street and ending at Veterans Memorial Park, on Tuesday, November 11. Fry Boulevard will be closed from 7th Street to Avenida Escuela from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. 

A short ceremony will follow in the park at about 10:00 a.m. To access the park for the ceremony, use the north entrance to the park. Following the ceremony, from about 10:30 a.m. to noon, residents can visit booths hosted by local Veterans organizations by the Centennial Pavilion within Veterans Memorial park. 


Yuma Veterans Day Parade

Yuma Veterans Day Parade

The Yuma Veterans Day Parade will take place on Tuesday, November 11 starting at 9:00 a.m. The parade will start on 4th Ave and 17th Street. The parade will end at the American Legion Post 19 located at 2575 S. Virginia Dr. There will be an 11th Hour ceremony following the parade at 11:00 a.m. 


Pinal County 2025 13th Annual Veteran Standdown and Resource Fair

Pinal County Veteran Standdown and Resource

Join us at the Pinal County 2025 Veteran Standdown and Resource Fair on Saturday, November 15 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the HOHP Veteran Transition Center located at 5497 West McCartney Rd., Coolidge, AZ. 

There will be several VA and community resources on hand providing assistance to Veterans, their families and caregivers.
