Dothan ClinicThe Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System (CAVHCS) is expanding health care services for Veterans in the Wiregrass region with a new 36,000-square-foot VA clinic at Health Center South in Dothan, Alabama.

This new facility will provide comprehensive, high-quality medical care in a modern, state-of-the-art setting, improving access to essential healthcare services for the region’s Veterans.

The clinic, located within the Health Center South Medical Tower, will offer Veterans convenient access to a wide range of medical services in a facility designed with their needs in mind. The expansion aligns with CAVHCS’ mission to deliver timely, high-quality care to those who have served our nation.

“This new clinic represents our continued commitment to bringing high-quality health care closer to where Veterans live,” said CAVHCS Director Amir Farooqi. “By expanding services in Dothan, we are ensuring Veterans in the Wiregrass region have better access to the care they have earned and deserve. Partnerships like this strengthen our ability to serve Veterans with excellence.”

Health Center South leadership also welcomed the collaboration.

“We are pleased to partner with the VA to bring expanded healthcare services to Veterans in our region,” said Tara Tatom, Director of Development at Health Center South. “This facility is designed to provide Veterans with the high-quality, patient-centered care they deserve in a convenient and modern setting.”

This new clinic is part of CAVHCS’ ongoing efforts to enhance access, improve patient experience, and ensure Veterans receive the best possible care.
