VA has pushed back the login changes for My HealtheVet to March 4, 2025. After that day, Veterans will have to use login.gov or ID.me for signing into My HealtheVet. To learn more about these two secure sign-in options, check out the details below.

Creating a Login.gov or ID.me account

Veterans, we encourage you to create a Login.gov or ID.me account now to keep seamless access to your MyHealtheVet. For instructions creating a Login.gov and ID.me, check out the details below:

If you already created one of these accounts but haven’t used it, we suggest you login now to make sure that your details are correct before the change. Using Login.gov or ID.me, you’ll have access to all the same information and services you use today.
