Due to the ongoing wildfires affecting multiple areas of Los Angeles, the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VAGLAHS) has activated the Community Care Network (CCN) Disaster Pharmacy Benefit. This benefit ensures Veterans can access emergency supplies of their active medications at no out-of-pocket cost when unable to fill their prescriptions through a VA pharmacy.
Key Details of the Emergency Pharmacy Benefit:

What It Covers: Veterans can receive a maximum 30-day emergency supply of their active medications.
- Exclusions:
- Expired prescriptions
- Prescriptions not previously filled by a VA pharmacy
- New prescriptions
- Controlled substances
