VA Providence invites Veterans age 65 and older to join us for a Veteran Café event at the American Legion, 870 River St., Woonsocket, RI, on Wednesday, January 15th, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
This event offers a wonderful opportunity to socialize with fellow Veterans while learning about valuable resources. The VA Providence Enrollment Team, Veterans Benefits Administration, Providence Vet Center, and Rhode Island Office of Veterans Services will be on hand to assist with enrollment and benefits questions, ensuring you’re accessing the care and services you’ve earned.
Meals on Wheels of Rhode Island will generously provide lunch for all Veterans in attendance, making it the perfect chance to relax, connect, and explore available services.

VA Providence invites all Veterans to attend the Mid-Winter Veteran Resource Fair at the CCRI Newport Campus Atrium, 1 John H. Chafee Blvd, Newport, RI, on Thursday, Jan. 16, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Our VA Providence Enrollment Team will be on-site to help you understand your eligibility and assist with enrollment to ensure you’re accessing the care and benefits you’ve earned. The Veterans Benefits Administration, Providence Vet Center, Newport Mental Health, and other community organizations will also be present to provide information and support for Veterans’ benefits, wellness, and additional resources.

 Participate in VA Providence's Heart Health Research to assist in improving treament options for Veterans.
VA Providence is proud to support the Re-Prosper Study—“Re-Purposing Probenecid for the Treatment of Heart Failure with Reduced Ejection Fraction”—a clinical trial focused on improving treatment options for Veterans living with heart failure.
Veterans may be eligible to participate if they: • Have a history of heart failure • Have been on stable heart failure medication for at least two weeks • Have a left ventricular ejection fraction greater than 40% • Are at least 18 years old

The Providence Vet Center is here to support Veterans in their educational journey through the Camo to Classroom college support group! Designed for Veterans who are new or returning to school, this group provides a space to connect, share experiences, and receive guidance for academic success.
Join the group every first and third Thursday of the month from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM.
