One-on-One Assistance Available for MyHealtheVet Login Changes

As an enhanced measure to protect your privacy and security, VA is updating the AccessVA log in procedure. In 2025, you’ll have two secure sign-in account options, Login.gov and ID.me, for all VA websites and apps.

The MyHealtheVet sign in option will be removed after January 31, 2025. You’ll still be able to access your personalized dashboard—you’ll just need to sign in to it with a Login.gov or ID.me account.

If you are Veteran who needs one-on-one assistance, there will be a VA representative at the following time and locations: 

Atlantic County: Sign-In Transition Assistance
When: January 7, 2024, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Kent County: Sign-In Transition Assistance

VAFit Program

Introducing the VAFit program! This is a virtual VA-sponsored exercise and wellness program specifically designed to help Veterans improve their overall health through exercise. VAFit is a free program offered to eligible Veterans of all ages and abilities.

This program is led by experienced and skilled physical therapists and occupational therapists to promote safety, functional fitness, and effective carryover of skills.

To participate, a referral from your provider is needed.

Join us on the first Tuesday of every month at 10 a.m. on teams to learn how a one-time blood test empowers you to actively participate in your personalized treatment journey. Pharmacogenomics (PGx) looks at your genes to reveal how your body reacts to specific medications. It allows your provider to tailor your medications and therapies for maximum effect and minimum side effects.

PACT Act Section 103 Health Care Eligibility

All Veterans who meet the basic service and discharge requirements and who were exposed to toxins and other hazards while serving our country—at home or abroad—can enroll directly in VA care under the PACT Act. Specifically, this applies to three new cohorts:

Veteran Win's Wheelchair at National Veteran Wheelchair Games

While attending the National Veterans Wheelchair Games in 2024, U.S. Army and Navy Veteran Crystal Young-Terrell, captain of the Delaware Patriots team, was one of two winners in a drawing for a powered mobility device from Sunrise Medical.

She was presented the electric wheelchair by Mark Hallett, VA National Accounts Manager and Rich Saunders, Associate Account Manager, from Sunrise Medical.

Pictured is Crystal's mother Lucille Drew and husband James Terrell who also went with her to pick up the wheelchair at the Wilmington VA Medical Center.

Registered Nurse Amy Wechsler in Primary Care received the Daisy Award on Dec. 19. She was nominated by a Veteran for her outstanding service.
