A new Interactive Map App for WRJ VA campus!

An Interactive Guide for Visitors!

To Our Veteran Community,

Your White River Junction VA Healthcare System team is excited to announce the launch of an interactive visitor's guide. The guide includes a web-based Interactive navigation page that can be accessed by either a URL or use of the QR code that is present on the map below as well as on a large pop-up poster that will be coming soon to the Main entrance (Mountains first floor). In addition to the large pop up posted, the QR code will be on all of our wayfinding maps in various locations around the facility. There will also be "Are you lost" postings with the QR code in many of our hallways that will assist you if you are not near a wayfinding map.

The interactive system will have a link to Google Maps for directions to the Medical Center, a campus map, and interactive navigation that allows you to enter a destination or starting point with a destination. The system will then provide step-by-step directions.

You can test out the Interactive map by clicking on this link: White River Junction VAMC (medmaps.com), or use your camera to scan the QR code on the map below.

What will it look like?

On the beginning screen you will have the following options:

Search Location: This is utilized when you are outside the buildings- it will give you directions starting with which entrance should be used.
Enter Location: This is utilized when you are already in the building- you choose your current location and then choose where you would like to go.
Campus Map: Utilize this to simply view the maps of each building and their floors
Get Directions: This is to be utilized when you are navigating from off campus to the WRJ VA main campus.

This is what you will see as you follow the step-by-step guide through the buildings:

Notice the red line entering Mountains Entrance at the bottom left and it navigates you to the elevator. The steps will pause here until you acknowledge the written instructions at the top of the screen. These instructions tell you where the red line takes you. Once you have completed this step, you select "Ok" and the next step will appear:

If the next step is your final step you will not see an alert at the top prompting you to select Ok. As you see above the final destination was 2nd Floor Reception in Mountains Building.
