The National Association of Veterans' Research and Education Foundations (NAVREF) is the membership organization of non-profit research and education foundations affiliated with Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) medical centers. Each year, NAVREF hosts an annual meeting to as part of their commitment to foster collaboration and innovation within the VA research community. This year, for the first time, investigators funded by the ORD Career Development Award (CDA) program were invited to the annual meeting. CDA participants heard from NAVREF and ORD senior leadership, presented their work in a poster session, and attended sessions on a range of topics designed to support their transition to independently funded VA researchers.
With the transition to the new Investigators, Scientific Review and Management (ISRM) Notices of Special Interest (NOSIs), Pre-application, and full research application Requests for Applications (RFAs) process, Health Systems Research (HSR) will no longer use the HSR Scientific Review Mailbox (vhacoscirev@va.gov).
Please refer questions about the new processes to the following mailboxes, which will ensure receipt of more rapid replies containing the most current and accurate information.
General questions should be sent to the ISRM mailbox: VHAISRM@va.gov
For Grants.gov or eRA Commons questions/issues: vhacordera.vhacordera@va.gov
CDA specific questions should be sent to the CDA mailbox:VHACADEReview@va.gov
Clinical trial questions should be sent to the CT mailbox:clin-review@va.gov
