Only free on the weekend? Get your flu and COVID-19 vaccines on Saturday September 28th and October 5th in the Vaccination Center! Appointments and drop-ins welcome.
Appointments are preferred. Please call 562-826-5151 from 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. to schedule or ask for a vaccine at your next appointment.

- Open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Also open on Saturday 9/28/2024 and 10/5/2024 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Closed for lunch from 12:00 to 1:00 PM daily. Closed on Federal holidays.
Flu vaccines are available at VA Long Beach in all clinics and Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs).
COVID vaccines are available in the following areas:
- VA Long Beach: Vaccination Center, Primary Care, Spinal Cord Injury, and Specialty Clinic
- All Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) will carry limited supply of COVID-19 vaccine
Can Veterans get free flu and COVID-19 vaccines in the community?
Yes! Eligible Veterans can receive free flu and COVID-19 vaccines in the community. Information on eligibility, in-network locations, and billing.
 
Veteran Buddy Checks encourage Veterans to connect or reconnect with their Veteran friends–just to check in. As part of the effort, Veteran Buddy Check Week, which takes place October 21 – 25, 2024, builds on the success of the American Legion’s Buddy Check program and the Veteran Wellness Alliance’s Get Involved program. A disruptive neighbor made home life stressful for Air Force Veteran Tina Hart. The noise from the apartment next door continued into the night, keeping her awake. Hart tried to find a resolution, seeking help from her apartment management, with no luck.
