Effective Monday, June 24, 2024, visits with Veteran Service Officers at the Tibor Rubin VA Medical Center's Veteran Resource Center will be by appointment and no longer by walk-in. This change will help ensure Veterans can see a VSO on the day they are scheduled and avoid the need to come in early to wait for an appointment.
To make your appointment please call (562) 826-8000 extension 18713. You may also use the direct scheduling tool on your MyHealtheVet account to request scheduling.
Questions regarding scheduling at VALBHS or within the local community can be directed to vhalonvso@va.gov.

June 12 is not a separate Veterans Day for women, but instead serves as a reminder that you have long fought for your right to serve and are an integral part of our military. To all our women Veterans, we thank you for your service and your sacrifice.

Calling all Veterans: The Veteran Social Connection (VSC) provides Veterans with an opportunity to meet and socialize in a safe environment. The VSC is also designed to highlight key programs and offerings at VA Long Beach Healthcare System. The VSC is held on the last Friday of each month from 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. on the Patriot Café Patio. Come by on Friday, June 28!
