Volunteers conduct service project at local Fisher House
Recently, 27 volunteers from Starbucks Soluble Plant of Augusta completed a service project by serving 108 hours at the VA Augusta Fisher House. They beautified the grounds, provided housekeeping work, and put together Fisher House packets. VA Augusta and the Fisher House are only as strong as the community that supports us, so we are appreciative of their continued work on behalf of the Veterans and families we serve.

And if you have toiletries, snacks, and bottled water you can donate for Veterans experiencing homelessness, we'll be taking those from May 13-17 at containers near elevators at both sites and on the 15th as part of the VA 2K events.

Parking and road renovations at Uptown site
Please be advised there is ongoing renovation at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center Uptown campus (1 Freedom Way in Augusta). Please do not try to enter the Uptown campus at the Wrightsboro Road main entrance, as that is an exit-only roadway, at present. Instead, follow detour signage to access the campus from another entrance. We appreciate your patience as we work to improve parking and traffic at our Uptown site.
