Office of Mental Health and Suicide Prevention

Veterans who are enrolled in VA health care have access to wide-ranging services, from checkups to surgeries to home health care and telehealth services. If you or a Veteran you know is not enrolled, here’s how to get started:

  1. Check your eligibility.
  2. Gather all necessary information.
  3. Start your application.

After reviewing the application, VA will mail the Veteran a letter to let them know whether it has been approved. Following approval, Veterans receive coverage for the services they need to help them get — and stay — healthy.

For your convenience, you can also apply in person at a VA medical center or clinic near you.
