The flu shot is your best protection against the flu
Everyone age six months and older should get the flu vaccine. If you are a Veteran enrolled in VA health care, visit your nearest VA facility for a free flu shot.
If you have already received a flu shot outside of VA, don’t forget to let your VA health care provider know. Learn more about flu vaccines and why you should get vaccinated at https://www.prevention.va.gov/flu/.
VA also offers updated COVID-19 vaccines at no cost for Veterans receiving care at VA. Due to changes in the virus and waning immunity, these updated vaccines protect against newer strains of COVID-19.

Don't risk it...request a video visit!
Winter weather will soon be here and driving can be dangerous. Don’t risk driving in the snow and missing your appointment when you can have a video visit from anywhere through VA Video Connect.
Using the VA Video Connect app, you can interact with your health care team over a secure video connection. There is no need to drive to the medical center or clinic, and these visits are free! No hassle, and no co-pay!
You can use the VA Video Connect app on any smartphone, tablet or computer with a reliable internet connection. Rather than cancel your appointment due to weather issues, contact your care team to request a video visit instead!
