Flu vaccines available at all Southeastern NC VA clinics beginning September 18

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Fall is just around the corner, time for considering taking the annual flu vaccine.

Staying up to date with your annual flu vaccine and other vaccines is the best way to prevent prolonged sickness and hospitalization. The Fayetteville NC VA Coastal Health Care System is offering several flu vaccine options for area Veterans enrolled in VA health care.

Scheduled appointments.

Veterans with a scheduled appointment may receive a flu shot at that time.

Community Care Network.

Veterans can also receive a flu vaccine through the Community Care Network pharmacies or urgent care/walk-in care at no cost to Veterans enrolled VA care. Bring your VA Health Identification Card as proof of eligibility. For vaccine locations, please call 877-881-7618. Learn more about no-cost flu shots.
