We are excited to announce the launch of a new home for Treatment Works for Vets on the Veterans Affairs website. This popular site features two portals - one connects Veterans with proven mental health treatments and the other gives providers tools for engaging Veterans in evidence-based treatments.
A new look and layout make TWFV easier to navigate and access resources.

Veterans who explore Treatment Works For Vets can learn about Evidence-Based Practices that are proven to be effective for conditions like depression, insomnia, substance abuse, and chronic pain. TWFV also introduces Veterans to treatment approaches for relationship distress and suicide prevention.

The Evidence-Based Psychotherapy Shared Decision-Making Toolkit for Mental Health Providers helps providers implement a pre-treatment Shared Decision-Making (SDM) session. This collaborative SDM session helps increase initial engagement in EBPs. The toolkit also highlights strategies for promoting ongoing engagement, such as establishing a strong therapeutic alliance and incorporating measurement-based care.
