Dear Veterans -
The West Palm Beach VA Health Care System (WPBVAHCS) has amended its mask policy and removed the requirement for Veterans, visitors, volunteers, and staff to wear facial coverings. This update applies to all sites of care with WPBVAHCS and accommodates individual masking preferences and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines.
Masks will remain available at our entrances and are recommended for use for those individuals who are, or who have family members, at high risk for severe illness. Information on high risk individuals can be found on the CDC website located here. Staff and guests are expected to respect Veteran and family members choice to wear a mask and comply with any requests of staff to do the same.
