PTSD Treatment: Behind Closed Doors

Have you ever wondered what happens during PTSD treatment?

Research has shown that trauma-focused talk therapies are the most effective way to treat PTSD. But what are these treatments, and how do they work?

Veterans are sharing their firsthand experiences of working with a therapist, talking about their trauma, and how talk therapy allowed them to make real changes that made their lives better on AboutFace.

There are more than 1,800 videos on the site, but a new design and search feature makes it easy to find content you are most interested in. You can filter the videos by branch of service, place of deployment, or types of therapy--or you can search by topics such as relationships, sleep or anxiety.

Visit AboutFace to hear more from Veterans who have been there.
