VEText Pharmacy Notifications

VEText Hands

Starting January 31, Veterans will start receiving text messages informing them of prescription shipments, med names and tracking information. The VEText messages will be sent once a day at 8:00AM mountain time. Currently, we are only able to send notifications for shipments from the George E. Wahlen VA Medical Center.



E-Screening Coming

E-Screening is coming and will help speed up the check in process at your next appointment.

E-Screening is an electronic healthcare questionnaire that aides your healthcare team during your visit.

  • When you make your next appointment, ensure VA has your updated email address.
  • About a week before your appointment, you will receive an email from donotreply@va.gov.
  • Click on the questionnaire link embedded in the email.
  • Fill out questionaire!
  • Arrive on time to your appointment, and most of those reminder questions will be take care of via the E-Screening process.

E-screening will decrease check-in time and increase the time you spend with your provider.

Strive for a Healthy Weight

Realizing that her unhealthy habits were affecting both her and her children, Veteran Wendy Glackin opted to participate in the VA SLC MOVE! Weight Management Program and work on making healthy changes.

National Salute

National Salute to Veteran Patients 

VA's National Salute to Veteran Patients is observed annually during the week of Valentine's Day, a day of caring and sharing which underscores the Salute's expression of honor and appreciation to inpatient and outpatient Veterans.

This year’s observance for National Salute to Veteran Patients will be February 12-18, 2023.
