PACT Act Event

PACT Act Event

Pre-Register for the PACT Act Event

VA Long Beach Healthcare System is holding a PACT Act Event for Veterans who may be affected by conditions covered under the new law which expands VA health care and benefits for Veterans exposed to burn pits, Agent Orange, and other toxic substances.

Services offered at this event:

  • Health care eligibility and enrollment assistance
  • VBA claims clinic
  • Toxic exposure screenings

If you're not able to make it to this event, but would still like to apply for VA Healthcare:

If you'd like to schedule a virtual appointment with the Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) to file a claim, visit the VA Visitor Engagement Reporting Application website (VAVERA).

If you'd like to start your Burn Pit Registry Questionnaire and have VA Long Beach Environmental Health follow up with you, visit the Airborne Hazards and Burn Pit Registry Screening site.

More PACT Act Information:

The PACT Act adds to the list of health conditions that we assume (or “presume”) are caused by exposure to these substances. This law helps us provide generations of Veterans—and their survivors—with the care and benefits they’ve earned and deserve.

You can call 800-698-2411 (TTY: 711) to ask questions about the PACT Act and you can file a claim for PACT Act-related disability compensation or apply for VA health care now.

Learn more about PACT Act Eligibility and see new presumptive conditions, locations, and time periods of service.

If you are interested in registering for the Airborne Hazards and Burn Pit Registry visit this site to get started and be ready for a follow-up action at the PACT Act Event.
