Stand with VA in serving all who served
11/14/2022
Join the Coatesville VA Medical Center in showing your support for all Veterans who served in the military by taking a stand against hatred and violence during our second annual Transgender Day of Remembrance observance on November 18, at 11 a.m. Since last October, we have lost 68 people who identify as transgender or non-binary across the U.S. Together we will remember and pay homage to those who have died and gather to remember as a reminder of VAs commitment to our Veterans; that we serve all who serve. This observance is particularly meaningful for the VA and the Veteran community, because transgender Veterans experience the highest rate of healthcare disparities among the Veteran population and are 20 times more likely to attempt suicide than their Veteran peers. Event Details: If you are unable to attend the service in person, join us on Zoom at 11 a.m. using the Meeting ID: 830 4988 0294 and Passcode: 552291.
