VA Caregiver Support2nd Annual Caregiver Support Outreach Tour

Learn all about VA Caregiver Support programs in October during the 2nd Annual Caregiver Support Outreach Tour:

  • Learn about Virtual Qigong and Caring for the Caregivers classes

VA’s Caregiver Support Program provides services to caregivers of Veterans of all eras enrolled in Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) health care. At VAPHS, we offer a wide array of services to family and friends who care for Veterans, including peer support mentoring, skills training, coaching, telephone support and online programs.

To enroll in caregiver support, Veterans can ask for a referral from their provider or call 412-822-2364. Staff will determine eligibility for programs. You can also get more information on VA Caregiver Support programs by visiting www.caregiver.va.gov.

 

To find out if you are eligible to enroll in VA health care:

  • Call VA toll-free at 877-222-8387, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Apply at www.va.gov/health-care/how-to-apply
  • Download the mailable VA Form 10-10EZ. Send the completed 10-10EZ with a copy of your DD214 to VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, Attn: Patient Registration, University Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15240.
