Creative Arts Competition for Veterans - Sept. 8, 2022

You are invited to attend the National Veterans Creative Arts Competition in the Richmond region. This annual event brings Veterans together and gives them the opportunity to share their talents and express life experiences through art, music, writing, drama and dance.

This year’s event showcases more than 70 entries. All first, second and third place winners will advance from the local event to the national level competition and compete against Veterans from across the country. Those who receive first place at the national event will be invited to participate in the 42^nd annual National Creative Arts Festival being held in St. Louis, Missouri in April 2023.

A Showcase Event of our local artists and their work will occur Sept. 8 from 1 – 4 p.m., at the Hickory Hill Community Center. All Veterans are welcome to attend this event to see the art.
