Before coming to any of our facilities, please check the current VA Health Protection Level for that facility and correspondent guidance on our website and/or social media. Updates (if any) will be posted on Mondays, and we will also display signage at the entrances.

Please note that areas like ICU, CLC and SCI/D will have more stringent safety protocols.

Free Shuttle Services

Tibor Rubin VA Medical Center offers free shuttle services around its campus. 

  • Fixed Route
    Performed by the white buses, this service is provided on a fixed route Monday - Friday, 6 a.m. - 6 p.m. excluding Holidays. Please click on the above image to locate the stop locations.  
  • Point-to-Point
    Performed by the golf carts, this service operates 24/7 including Holidays. Please call 562-519-2267 to request it. 

Virtual Veterans Town Hall

In keeping with VA’s commitment to improve communication, VA Long Beach Healthcare System invites Veterans, their families, caregivers and beneficiaries, as well as community partners, to a Virtual Veterans Town Hall.

The Virtual Veterans Town Hall will take place Tuesday, July 19, 2022, 6-7:30 p.m. Guests can join by Audio Call or Online Video. Mobile device must have the Microsoft Teams application installed in order to join the online video. 

Senior Leadership and staff from key departments will be in attendance to answer questions on the spot. 

The event is part of a nationwide effort by VA facilities across the country to improve communication with Veterans and hear directly from them.
