Our nurses are ready to help!
For most common conditions and illnesses, VA registered nurses are available to assess your symptoms from the comfort of your home.
Our nurses will evaluate your symptoms, provide a care recommendation, and if appropriate, schedule a virtual or face-to-face same day appointment.
Simply dial 1-833-TELE-URGENT (1-833-835-3874) to speak with a nurse. The call center is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Tele-urgent care is available from 8 a.m. to midnight ET, 365 days a year.

Choose the right care, at the right place, at the right time
A sudden health scare needs the right kind of care. For situations like broken bones, scrapes, and minor ailments, you can usually go to urgent care. Life-threatening problems need emergency care. The key is knowing where to go ahead of time before you need care quickly.
VA recently launched a new informational website to help you choose the right care, at the right place, and at the right time. For life-threatening injuries or symptoms, call 911 or go to the emergency room. Less than life-threatening injuries or symptoms can be treated at a VA facility or by in-network urgent care providers.
Visit the website to learn when to choose urgent care, when to call 911 or go to the emergency room, and when to consider other types of care. The new website also provides you with a wealth of information on other VA services including same-day services, telehealth, and more.
