VISN 4 Connected Care Update - January 5, 2022 |
|
Winter weather is here and driving can be dangerous. Don’t risk driving in the snow and missing your appointment when you can have a video visit from anywhere through VA Video Connect.
Using the VA Video Connect app, Veterans can interact with their health care team over a secure video connection. There is no need to drive to the medical center or clinic, and these visits are free! No hassle, and no co-pay!
Veterans can use the VA Video Connect app on any smartphone, tablet or computer with a reliable internet connection, and you can access your video visits through email or text messages.
Rather than cancel your appointment due to weather issues, call the medical center or contact your care team to request a video visit instead!
For more information on VA Video Connect or to download the app, visit the VA mobile app store.
**If accessing VA Video Connect on your Apple mobile device, you will need to download the free VA Video Connect iOS app from the Apple App Store.
