  • COVID-19 Screening: All individuals must pass COVID-19 screening prior to entry to our facilities.
  • Visitation Policy: No visitors are permitted to the Medical Center at this time. Exceptions may be made for inpatient hospitalizations on a case- by-case basis and for end-of-life.
  • Designated Caregiver/Support Person for Outpatient Appointments or Procedures: One designated caregiver/support person can accompany patients requiring physical or cognitive assistance (no one under the age of 18 is permitted). Ages 16-18 are allowed for the purpose of obtaining a COVID vaccine only.
  • Physical Distancing: All individuals who visit and work at our medical centers and clinics are required to practice physical distancing.
  • Masks: Appropriate masks must always be worn while in our facilities.
  • Mobile Check-In Available: Veterans can check in for scheduled appointments by phone by calling 561-422-6838 or texting "here" to 53079. Veterans can remain in their vehicle until their provider is ready for them.

Please remember, call before you visit VA facilities. The best way to prevent illness is to limit exposure to people who might have this virus. All Veterans who have symptoms (fever, cough and shortness of breath) should call the VISN 8 Clinical Contact Center at 1-877-741-3400 for triage and instruction before coming to the medical center or clinics. The safest place for you, unless you may require hospitalization, is home.
