VA upgrades travel pay portal
Based on your feedback, the Beneficiary Travel Self-Service System (BTSS) has been upgraded for faster claims processing and payment.
First, you’ll see two new methods of logging into the portal. You now have the option to use an ID.me account or a MyHealtheVet Premium User ID instead of a Level 2 DS-Logon.
Another important change is the accurate listing of the appointment facility. Previously, the appointment facility was always set to a VA medical center. This change will result in more accurate claims and mileage calculations.
