Madison VA Hospital & Clinics

Madison VA Veterans,

Madison VA is offering walk-in Moderna COVID-19 vaccinations at all of our facilities and clinics. The urgency to vaccinate as many eligible individuals as quickly as possible remains a top priority for VA, and this service ensures that all Veterans, spouses, caregivers, and those authorized under the SAVE LIVES Act have an opportunity to receive COVID-19 vaccination from VA.

Have you gotten your first dose and don’t think you need your second? Consider this: The Delta variant, which has caused many hospitalizations and deaths across India, can severely impact those who are either unvaccinated or only received their first of two-dose vaccine series, such as Pfizer-BioNTech or Moderna. Even if you received your first dose of Moderna outside the VA, we are ready to give the second dose to employees, Veterans or anyone who qualifies under the Save Lives Act. Stop by your local facility today with a copy of your vaccination card. Time is of the essence.

Vaccines are provided during regular clinic hours. You may also set up a vaccination appointment. Please call 608-280-2160 right away to be scheduled by our Vaccine Scheduling Team. Our priority remains the safety of all those receiving vaccine from VA. Individuals taking advantage of walk-in vaccination may need to wait for the vaccine to be prepared, and will be screened when entering a VA facility. Face masks are mandatory for all and physical distancing measures will be in place.

If you are interested in registering your spouse or caregiver for an appointment, ask them to sign up right now! The process is simple, just follow this link (choose ‘Madison’ as your vaccination site/Medical Facility): Sign up to get a vaccine | Veterans Affairs. When you sign up through the link, you may then walk-in or call 608-280-2160 to schedule an appointment.

The primary goal of the VA COVID-19 vaccination effort is to protect those we serve from COVID-19, including Veterans, their spouses, caregivers, employees and federal partners. Through this effort, VA has vaccinated more than 2.5 million Veterans, 25,000 spouses and over 60,000 individuals under the SAVE LIVES Act.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

The William S. Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital and Clinics
