Drive-thru testing to transition to indoors at CVHCS’s Richmond campus – testing, vaccinations will continue in Multipurpose Room
Dear Veteran,
The Central Virginia VA Health Care System will transition from exterior drive-thru COVID-19 testing to inside operations at its Richmond campus on June 4. Pre-procedure testing will resume inside the facility’s Multipurpose Room on June 7.
The vaccine clinic inside the Multipurpose Room remains open for walk-in patients, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
All who are entering CVHCS facilities must continue wearing a mask or face covering, and all will be screened for symptoms of COVID-19 infection. Anyone with symptoms of COVID-19 will be redirected to the Emergency Room for assessment.
If you are experiencing any of the below symptoms, please proceed to the Emergency Room for assessment before going to the testing and vaccine clinic:

- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

- New loss of taste or smell
|

|
All Veterans are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine through CVHCS. Veterans’ spouses and caregivers eligible under the SAVE Lives Act may also receive the vaccine through CVHCS. Spouses and caregivers should call 804-675-5737 to schedule an appointment for the vaccine.
