Flu Vaccines Available Soon

Search bar question "When can I get the flu vaccine"

Columbus VA will begin offering the flu vaccine to Veteran patients September 21 - November 24. Veteran patients will be able to receive the vaccine during any face-to-face appointment or at a scheduled vaccine clinic. Any Veteran who receives the flu vaccine in the community is encouraged to inform their primary care team. More information to follow.

Travel Services for Veterans

Beneficiary travel at the Columbus VA reimburses Veterans who provide their own transportation to VA healthcare appointments at the nearest VA medical center, Community Based Outpatient Clinic, or VA approved community care appointments.

New Surgery Addition

VA Central Ohio Healthcare System recently upgraded and expanded its surgery service at the Chalmers P. Wylie VA Ambulatory Care Center.  Plans for the addition began about four years ago because of the need for more space and to expand care for Veterans. The 17,197 square foot addition includes updated exam rooms, an additional procedure room, upgraded equipment and allows for the urology service to be located among the other surgical sub-specialties.
