News & Announcements

VA SORCC is offering COVID vaccination appointments to All Veterans, Spouses of a Veteran, Caregivers of a Veteran, Surviving Spouse of Veterans and CHAMPVA - Recipients of Civilian Health and Medical Program of the Department of Veterans Affairs benefit.

Groups listed above and  All VA SORCC area Veterans including Grants Pass and Klamath Falls, can call 541-826-2111 extension 4440. Please call between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday to schedule a COVID-19 vaccine appointment. We cannot take walk-ins.

The Department of Veterans Affairs encourages eligible Veterans and employees to get vaccinated against COVID-19 when a vaccine is available to them. VA respects and understands that some people may prefer a particular vaccine due to a variety of reasons. However, due to the limited supply of vaccines at this time, facilities may not be able to offer more than one vaccine at this time. If employees or Veterans have specific concerns or questions, they should reach out to their care providers.

Remember, coming onto VA SORCC, whether employees, patients, or visitors are required to wear face mask for the duration of their time on campus. The face mask must cover the mouth and nose, fit snugly, and allow for breathing without restriction. We’re doing everything to protect our Veterans and employees as we move through this Pandemic.

Masks are a critical step to help prevent people from getting and spreading COVID-19. A mask offers some protection to you as well as protecting those around you. Wear a mask and take every day preventive actions in public settings and mass transportation, at events and gatherings, and anywhere you will be around other people.

Thank you,

Your VA SORCC Vaccine Team
