What you need to know about the SAVE LIVES Act

On March 24, 2021, President Joe Biden signed the SAVE LIVES Act into law. The law allows VA to offer COVID-19 vaccines to more Veterans, including those not enrolled in VA, and some spouses and caregivers of Veterans.

In April 2021, VA's national team will select a limited number of VA medical centers to conduct the COVID-19 vaccination for the additional groups identified. At this time, Tennessee Valley Healthcare System is waiting for more guidance from our national team on how this change will be implemented.

We are asking Veterans, their spouses, and caregivers to be patient while the national team works out the plans for distribution.

If you or someone you know qualifies and wants the vaccine, please sign up at VA's "Keep Me Informed" tool. You do not need to call or travel to TVHS facilities.
