New

Twin Ports VA Clinic: Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine APPOINTMENT opportunity for enrolled Veterans, March 6 & 7 at Twin Ports VA Clinic. If eligible, call 612-467-1301 between 7:30AM & 4PM by Friday, March 5 to schedule your appointment. Veterans must commit to returning in 3 weeks for a second dose. For this Twin Ports VA Clinic weekend event only, we're inviting enrolled Veterans 65 or older and enrolled Veterans who are frontline essential workers 18 or older to call.

Who is eligible to get vaccinated now by Minneapolis VA

  • All enrolled Veterans 70 or older who receive care within the Minneapolis VA Health Care System.
  • Enrolled Veterans who are frontline essential workers, 18 or older, who receive care within the Minneapolis VA Health Care System. This includes the following Veterans:
    • First responders (e.g., firefighters and police)
    • Corrections officers
    • Food and agriculture workers
    • U.S. Postal Service workers
    • Manufacturing workers
    • Grocery store workers
    • Public transit workers
    • Those who work in the education sector (e.g., teachers and support)
    • Childcare workers
    • Healthcare workers

Eligible Veterans should schedule their COVID-19 vaccination appointments by calling 612-467-1301 weekdays between 7:30AM & 4PM. If you already have an appointment, please report to the clinic at your scheduled date and time; there is no need to call to confirm your appointment.

We are continuing our targeted outreach for Veterans in high risk populations following national and state guidance, including homeless Veterans, Veterans who receive home based primary care, inpatients, and Veterans with select high risk conditions who are followed by Specialty Providers.

Special note: While the Minnesota Department of Health has approved vaccination of individuals 65 or older, we ask that, except for frontline essential workers, Veterans younger than 70 do not contact us at this time to schedule a COVID-19 vaccine appointment to prevent overwhelming our communications systems, and to ensure available vaccine for the highest risk populations. We will contact every enrolled Veteran when they are eligible to be scheduled.
