 Dear SFVAHCS Veteran,
We are reaching out to inform you that the San Francisco VA Medical Center and its community-based outpatient clinic (CBOC) sites are now offering COVID-19 vaccines to VA-enrolled Veterans 65 years of age and older. We thank you for your patience in this process, as our vaccine operations and carefully thought-out priority tiers have fluctuated based on vaccine availability. We are eager to offer this vaccine to more patients and encourage you to make an appointment as soon as possible if you are eligible.
Over the past few weeks, we quickly and efficiently vaccinated over 3,800 Veterans, including those age 75 years and older, on hemodialysis, living in the Community Living Center, or considered at highest risk due to severe immunosuppression. We have also stood up several mass vaccination clinics at the San Francisco VA Medical Center (SFVAMC), and rapidly deployed vaccines to our CBOC sites.
If you are age 65 years or older and would like to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, please call 415-750-2204 to schedule your appointment at SFVAMC. Or, to receive your vaccine at your local VA clinic, please call the appropriate phone number below. NO DROP-IN VISITS WILL BE ACCEPTED. PLEASE MAKE AN APPOINTMENT.
